About

Coding For Self-Expression

The Creative Coding Studio aims to introduce programming to those who want to combine imagination with computers. This summer, create an app or two, learn some fundamentals of computer science along the way, and build habits of problem solving to launch endless coding projects. You’ll dive right into full-fledged, real programming so that you’ll gain the skills to take on real projects that involve sound, video, gaming, data, art, and beyond.

No Experience Needed

For girls, grades 7th-9th, without coding experience (or with just a little). You’ll need your own laptop, but we will supply the coding knowledge. You’ll be supported by a small team with plenty of experience in helping newbies become capable coders.

Studio Environment

The studio environment  offers an open and collaborative, hands-on, immersive approach where you’ll learn by doing, and do what you find fun, interesting, and rewarding. We'll sprinkle in a little bit of outdoor time too.
